Bondages of the Mind That Create Abnormal Operating Conditions, Part 2

The mind and heart of people are really components of the soul. The components of soul include intellect, mind, hearts, emotions, and will. When God tells us to renew our minds, we understand that our minds weren’t automatically renewed when we were born again. We must enact changes. First we must pull down prior images. We have to destroy them according to Jeremiah 23:29, the Word of God is a hammer that breaks down rocky places. They must be broken with the hammer of the Word, burned with the fire of the Word, cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. Then we begin creating a new image, based on the Word of the Living God.

What is normal for the heart? What condition should the mind of believers operate in to be considered normal? Peace! Don’t spend your time worrying about tomorrow. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Peace, calmness, and serenity are the normal operating conditions for our minds.

What does the enemy come to do? To steal, to kill, and to destroy. Where is the battle fought? In the mind of mankind. When the enemy keeps the mind busy, busy, busy, and wandering and wondering—those are abnormal operating conditions for our minds. If our minds are busy or in a state of abnormality, it means our minds are not peaceful, calm, and that our emotions are our master, which enslaves us. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
