Bondages of the Mind—Confusion, Part 3

The normal mind of a believer is restful. It’s not filled with reasoning, anxiety, worry, doubt, confusion, or fear. Those are the tools of the kingdom of darkness. Would God redeem us so we could continue using those tools?

The carnal mind is enmity toward God. That mind wants to do its own thing, through logic, reasoning and order. This creates abnormal mindsets. Reasoning leads to doubt, and doubt leads to confusion. God is not the author of confusion, so if you are confused, you did not get it from God; it came from the kingdom of darkness. Kick it out!

If we don’t know what is normal for our minds—peace—then we will accept an abnormal condition and believe it’s okay. It is important for us to realize that God has already created life templates to guide us as believers. And He placed His spirit within us to ensure and assure compliance. Until we tackle our thoughts, nothing will change. We must take all the raw thoughts that determine our actions. That’s why we must dismantle the old mindset, dismantling strongholds, and returning to God’s Word, for “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). The Holy Spirit enlightens our mind.

God is not the author of confusion. Reasoning causes the mind to revolve around a situation. There’s no solution, but it goes round and round the same mountain. The mind is in a state of confusion, which means God’s peace is not there. Satan frequently steals the will of God from us due to reasoning. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
