Ascending to Another Level
We are not to remain static. We aren’t to reach the point where we think, “Everything is good. God knows I love Him. Everything is all right.” Because the propensity to operate in the sin nature is right below the surface. So, while we reach a point where we think all is well, we may not be in alignment with God’s Word. Even as we come into alignment with His Word, we are not to become static. Instead, we are to desire what He has for us. There is no limit to our relationship with God Almighty, except what limits we set up or allow others to set for us. God’s desire has always been for intimacy. Think back to Adam, Enoch, Noah, and others who walked with God.
What exactly does it mean to ascend to another level? It’s the power of salvation for everyone who believes, according to Romans 1:16. What are the blessings? Salvation from the penalty, power, and presence of sin. Scripture uses the words Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification. Justification is the Divine act of delivering sinners to be righteous because of faith in Jesus, who paid their sins. Sanctification is the process in which God develops the new life of the believer and gradually brings it to perfection. It’s a process of growth. Glorification is the ultimate salvation of the whole person, when we are completely molded into the image of Christ. See Romans 8:29–30, Phil. 2:3, and 1 Thes. 5:23. We are opening this process so that the people of God may be strong and do the exploits of God. For more insight, including how to ascend, listen to this message delivered by Dr. Dowdy for October 20, 2019.
Romans 1:16–17 NKJV & AMP
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” [Hab. 2:4] NKJV
16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.” AMP

Healing Prayer:
Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23
What We Believe:
We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.
Faith Confession:
We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
