The Heart of God, Part 2

Scripture: I John 4:16, we read through to verse 21.

How is the Love of God manifested in and through us as believers? What is it that sets us apart as new creations, having received a new spiritual leader?

As we listened to the scripture in I John we hear it saying to us: 

“And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear has torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”

The above are verses 16-18 of I John. If you wondered why verse 18 says there is no fear in love, it is because God is love! Fear represents the kingdom of darkness, not the kingdom of light. To reclaim our position of authority that was planned for us in the beginning, it means getting filled with the love of God, it has to replace the fear.

How does His love manifest in and through us? 

Romans 5:5 says it is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.

Eph. 2:4-6 shows it brings regeneration; we become rich in the great love. I John 4:7-12, love is of God.

It produces faith, according to I John 4:16. (Believe)

Security: II Thess. 3:5 shows God directs our hearts, so we are not filled with the poison of hatred, prejudice, violence, evil thoughts, and evil actions.

Seen in our daily lives in I John 2:15-17. Produces obedience: I John 2:5; keeping His commandments. And sanctification: I John 4:18-21; no fear in love!

That is why we set every weight aside and run the race to the prize of pure hearts, having been filled with the love of God, the Word of God and the Spirit of God.

God is love, and he that loves, knows God. The caveat: he that loveth not knows not God, for God is love! That is why we are not clones, but have free will to make choices. He directs us by the conscience in our spirits to make the right choices. God is Love!!!!!

Healing and Deliverance

Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23

What We Believe:

We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.

Faith Confession:

We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
