The Heart of Man, Part 3

Scriptural reference — Ezekiel 11:19: “Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh.”

God is not saying He will override our free will in this scripture, but instead, speaking of that day, (today) when He would put His very own Spirit within those called by the Name of Jesus. In addition, He would take the heart of stone out, and replace it with a heart that resembles His very own nature: one that is soft, compassionate, easy to be entreated, and filled with love. His very own love nature embedded in our hearts to enable us to be transformed into vessels of honor, filled with Him.

We have looked at the components of our being, our spirits, whose three main parts are the conscience, intuition, and communion. The conscience is an early warning system that sends alerts when we are stepping out of line. The intuition is engaged when we receive the revelations of God and the movements of the Holy Spirit. Communion is related to the worship of God, the soul is not able to worship God alone, it is impacted by sin, and the input from the kingdom of darkness. They that worship God must do so in spirit and in truth.

Then we looked at the soul of man, meaning life, self, heart, appetite, desire, feelings, passion, or strength. While the spirit provides conscience input, the conscious of the soul comes from our experiences and judgment of what we determine to be right or wrong. Yes, there can be a difference in the data between spirit and soul.

These are known as the intangible dimensions of our beings. We cannot see them, nor touch them, yet they are crucial to our growth and development as human beings and especially as believers in Jesus Christ.

Then we come to the heart, a section of the soul, yet separate in that it receives data from both the spirit and the soul. To re-balance the scales, we need more data coming from our spirits, Word/God data that begin the transformation process of changing the contents of our hearts.

Listen with the eyes of our understanding enlightened and open ears to hear what the Spirit is saying to the church.

We have been redeemed, but our souls and bodies did not change. We must take the Word of the living God and transform them/cleanse, purified by the fire of God’s Word. When His life force particles are released into our hearts, it can be picked up by our conscious mind, and spoken through our lips.

Healing and Deliverance

Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23

What We Believe:

We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.

Faith Confession:

We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
