Freedom from Fear
“For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, ‘Abba Father.’” Romans 8:15 NASB
This Message was a response to the fear-filled atmosphere of Halloween. When we subject children to fearful images they can haunt them longer than we expect.
Our scripture tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear. Did you wonder where that inbred spirit that haunts you, hinders you, taunts you came from? Fear is the chief agent of the kingdom of darkness. It has torment. It works to lower our faith and trust in God Almighty. It wants us to keep a low profile as it were, not believing that we are worthy of God’s love, and certainly not the sacrifice that Jesus made for our freedom.
As we search the scriptures we easily find others that serve as pillars to this one. I Timothy 1:7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of authority, love and a steadfast mind.” I John 4:18: “There is not fear in love, for perfect love (mature) love casts out fear.”
Just meditating on those three scriptures we come to an understanding that God is not desirous of us being controlled by fear, for certainly it can and will exert a controlling influence over us.
Fear and faith operate at extreme ends of the spectrum: faith builds up, brings increase, fear tears down and produces decrease. How can we be free from fear? When we plant the Word of God in our hearts, as you listen to the Message you will hear some of those scriptures to plant. Focus on the fact that God has not given us a spirit of fear, and wonder why. Fear operates from another kingdom, we cannot operate in two kingdoms at the same time.

Healing and Deliverance
Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23
What We Believe:
We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.
Faith Confession:
We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
