The LORD Is Peace, Jehovah Shalom, Part 1
As we open the eyes of our understanding and become more focused on applying the Word to our life situations, we come face to face with a very important fact. God does not want us constantly engaged in emotional turmoil, fear, doubt or any operation from the operation of the law of sin and death that we have been delivered from.
We begin with the examination of his covenant Name revealed to Gideon in Judges 6. Jehovah Shalom, the name Jehovah is the Greek for YHWH (Yahweh, with the vowels from the Name Adonai inserted), Lord with a different meaning. It means The Self Existent One: “Before Me there was no God formed, and there will be none after Me. I, even I, am the LORD; And there is no savior besides Me” Isaiah 43:10-11.
Everything that came into being came from the mouth of the Self Existent One who spoke them into being. Jesus would say in John 5:26: “He has life within Himself.”
Shalom: The Lord is peace! Revelation of one of the facets of His nature, He doesn’t just have peace; He is peace!
That is the understanding He wants us to focus on, then we will not be stressed out, filled with fear, doubt, worry…why? He is our ABBA, our spiritual parent who adopted us into His own family and has given unto us “all things that pertain unto life and godliness” II Peter 1:3. When our minds have been renewed with His Word, that concept will be easier for us to walk in.
Isaiah 26:3 states, “I will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is stayed on Me.”
That translates into our planting the uncorrupted Word of the living God into our reborn spirits. When we plant seed of peace, nurture those seed and seedlings, we will reap a harvest of His peace. Things that used to upset us, create an emotional storm, must take a back seat to the spirit of peace, who we are told will mount guard and garrison upon our hearts and minds. Awesome!!!

Healing and Deliverance
Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23
What We Believe:
We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.
Faith Confession:
We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
