The Living Word

God’s Word can become alive in us and for us! That includes healing. We must realize that when God speaks of healing, He’s not just speaking of the physical body. In order for healing to manifest and fully take effect, we must have confidence in God’s Word. That is why we confess it, meditate on it, and study it, to keep our hearts filled with the dominion of the Word. Healing for the spirit, soul, and body are available through Jesus Christ, the Word of God. There can be delays due to fear and doubt from toxic emotions, negative memories, generational negative energy in the soul.

The Word is a part of God Himself; God and His Word are one, just as you and your word are one. The Word becomes a living thing as we act upon it. We can have complete confidence in it. The Word is God speaking and it is always in present tense. It is always now, just as God is always now. Notice that 1 Peter 2:24 is not speaking about the future. The Word of God is a living thing. That’s how healing is effected. We have confidence and believe that God will confirm His Word. It brings glory to God. (See John 14:13)

When we act on the living Word of God, when we have confidence in the Word of God, when we have planted that Word, it has become a living thing for healing. For more insight, listen to this message delivered by Dr. Dowdy on June 7, 2020.

Key Scriptures
John 6:63 NKJV
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Special Healing Prayer: Lion of Judah Worship Center includes time for Holy Spirit directed prayer. The service has been separated into three parts. We encourage you to feast on this three course meal!

Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23

What We Believe:

We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.

Faith Confession:

We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.
