Spiritual Warfare for Beginners, Part 1
The weapons of our warfare are not physical weapons of flesh and blood. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted, proud thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God. What is a stronghold? A fortified places set up in our minds to keep us in bondage. It is like military base set up in the mind to operate incognito, because we don’t know it’s there. But by revelation knowledge, from the Spirit of discernment, we can know all things. We ask the Holy Spirit to search us. We ask that if there’s anything in us that not pleasing or desirable to reveal it to us to be dealt with. A spiritual stronghold needs to remain hidden for it to be effective. Your spiritual enemy desires to keep his existence a secret. If you stay in denial, satan can continue to harm you in the stronghold of concealment. But God has not left us without help. God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. He knows the strategies of the enemy. God has given us tools, defensive and offensive, weapons of war, to enable us to stand in the face of the storm, though the tsunami, hurricane force winds, because no weapon formed against us shall prosper. The Word of God is powerful, sharper than any sword. So no matter how formidable the weapon is against us, we have a way to overcome. We have to learn the rules of engagement. We have to learn how to navigate snares, pitfalls, and other dangers, and how to keep our focus on God Almighty. These important points are explained in more detail in this message, delivered by Dr. Dowdy on Feb. 16, 2020.
2 Corinthians 10:3–5 NKJV
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Deliverance Time:
Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:
“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23
What We Believe:
We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.
Faith Confession:
We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the Name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and His anointing.”
