How do we get our default mind setting? It’s generational, environmental, associational, and educational. All of these tributaries flow into us to create a mindset. These thoughts form ideas. These ideas flowing together form a mindset. Such mindsets often say, You’re no good. You’re never gonna amount to anything. (And so on.) Words have power. When we understand this, we learn to confess the Word of the Living God. We say instead, Lord, thank you that I am the head and not the tail. Thank you that You have sent Your Word and Your Word has healed me and delivered me from all destructions. I am the seed of Abraham. I am redeemed! (And so on.) We counter what has gone forth previously, with the Word of God, and break the mindset. It doesn’t happen all at once.  The moment we cross over, saying, Jesus, come into my life. Be my Lord and Savior. Lead me in paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. At that moment our spirit is reborn. But our minds are the same, because they were not reborn. Our body was not reborn either. As we begin to eat the Word of the Living God, we come to the knowledge that we are to consider our bodies dead to sin, and the sin nature. Then we come to the understanding that we must renew our minds. That old mindset keeps us doing the things we don’t want to do. It keeps us double-minded. For more insight, listen to this message delivered by Dr. Dowdy on July 28, 2019, and be blessed!

Proverbs 23:7 NKJV
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

Romans 12:2 NKJV
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Psalm 1:1–3
Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.

Special Healing Prayer: Lion of Judah Worship Center includes time for Holy Spirit directed healing prayer. The entire service has been separated into three parts. We encourage you to enjoy all three, as a three-course meal!

Healing Prayer:

Foundation Scripture for LOJWC Ministry:

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:23

What We Believe:

We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. On the third day he rose again according to Scripture. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, from whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the God-head, who revealed himself on the day of Pentecost. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and their continuous operation in the body of Christ. And we believe in one holy, universal, and apostolic church. Amen.

Faith Confession:

We conduct spiritual warfare. It begins with us as we speak God’s word and speak to our bodies, minds, and emotions. Therefore we make a faith confession which says: “Satan, in the name of Jesus, I declare this body a sickness-disease-free zone. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and his anointing.
