Is Physical Healing Included in Redemption?

God is revealing himself to us today, just as he did long ago. He is revealing himself to us as he leads us from the vestiges of bondage into the fullness of freedom. It doesn’t matter how many years we have called ourselves a Christian. The question is, where are we now, have we grown? Are we carnal? Do we believe God’s word? Because what we believe, we will act upon.

The problem with healing is a problem with the integrity of the word. The Word of God is a healer today. In the perfect redemption that God the Father wrought in Jesus, there is perfect healing for every believer. See Psalm 107:2. There is a common view among Christians that healing is not in the redemptive work of Jesus, that healing belongs to us if we have faith enough to claim it. That premise holds that faith is the gift of God and therefore, if he gives you faith for healing, then it shall be. Otherwise your only hope is in the arm of flesh (that is, in doctors and medical science). The second view holds that healing is a part of the plan of redemption, that disease comes with the fall of man, and is a work of the adversary. This message will address this view.

What We Believe:

We believe in God, the Father, Almighty, and in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. Every germ, virus, bacterium, etc., that touches this body dies instantly in the name of Jesus, who bore my sicknesses, carried my diseases, and by whose stripes I have been healed. Therefore I command life into every cell in this body, I receive healing for my emotions from every past embedded hurtful, fearful memory. I speak active deliverance from the law of sin and death, according to the finished works of Jesus the Christ, the anointed and his anointing.”
