We have to take the word of God and purify our hearts. We have to take action when we realize there are things operating in our hearts that are not Christ-like. This is why we see some challenges within the body of Christ. But when our behavior and actions emulate that of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, people are drawn to God. Psalm 24:1–5 NKJV says,

The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters.

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

James 4:8 NKJV says,

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
